Kelley Information Technology

Enterprise IT Leadership Built from the Ground Up

Ashton Kelley brings over 15 years of hands-on IT experience spanning frontline support, infrastructure design, business leadership, and community-focused technology initiatives. He began his career in a high-volume AT&T call center, troubleshooting residential internet services—an environment that shaped his ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable solutions for non-technical users.

He holds an Associate’s degree in Computer Networking Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a Technical Focus, blending deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of business operations. Ashton also maintains multiple Microsoft and CompTIA certifications, reinforcing his commitment to industry best practices and continuous learning.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ashton played a critical role in workforce development by becoming a certification proctor and mentor, helping guide more than 30 technology professionals through an intern program initiated by Raptor IT Consultants. The program provided a secure testing facility while actively promoting education, certification, and career advancement during a time of widespread disruption.

Designing IT That Works for Business—Not Against It

After founding Raptor IT Consultants in California, Ashton recognized a consistent gap in the market: small and mid-sized businesses needed transparent, reliable IT support that fit their budgets—and spoke in a language business leaders could actually understand. Too often, IT services were reactive, opaque, and misaligned with business goals.

Following a relocation to Central Florida, Ashton helped establish Kelley Information Technology, drawing on three generations of family experience and a shared commitment to integrity, accountability, and service. KIT was built to help organizations grow without chaos by replacing constant firefighting with intentional strategy.

At the core of Ashton’s work is a simple mission:

Help business leaders reduce IT risk, control costs, and support their teams—without constant firefighting.

From Reactive Support to Strategic Technology Leadership

Ashton’s philosophy is deeply embedded in KIT’s approach to managed IT services. He believes that most IT problems aren’t purely technical—they stem from missing strategy, unclear ownership, and reactive support models. At KIT, Ashton focuses on:

  • Clarity – aligning technology decisions with real business objectives
  • Prevention – designing systems that reduce risk before issues occur
  • Accountability – ensuring clients know exactly what they’re getting and why
His vision is to help organizations scale securely, efficiently, and confidently, using technology as a stabilizing force rather than a recurring pain point. Ashton is also known for offering candid guidance—often helping business leaders “sanity-check” their current IT arrangements to understand whether their environment truly supports their growth.

Strengthening Organizations Through Education, Mentorship, and Service

Beyond his professional work, Ashton is deeply invested in his community. He serves as an Executive Director at EDSS Florida, a nonprofit dedicated to enriching students’ lives through fundraising initiatives that supply schools and provide resources for homeschooling families across the state. He is also a youth baseball coach for his sons’ T-ball teams, reflecting his belief that leadership, mentorship, and teamwork start early—both on and off the field. These roles reflect Ashton’s broader commitment to education, mentorship, and building sustainable communities through service and leadership.

Bridging Business Strategy, Secure Technology, and Real-World Execution

What sets Ashton apart is his rare blend of technical depth, business fluency, and community-driven leadership. His years of working directly with business owners, executives, and local organizations give him a grounded understanding of real-world challenges facing SMBs.

Ashton has also created innovative initiatives such as “Donut Drive & Thrive,” a program recognized by peers and business leaders for its impact and creativity in strengthening professional and community relationships.

Driven by a genuine passion for technology, Ashton is dedicated to helping small and mid-sized businesses safely and securely unlock their full potential—using IT not just as a tool, but as a strategic advantage.
